Class Name: Basic Care and Maintenance of your Practice Chanter, the Scale, and Scale Runs
Class Instructor: Andrew Douglas
Date of Original Live Class: January 19th, 2012 at 7pm

Description: Andrew covers the very first things you need to know when learning the bagpipes. What is this "practice chanter" thingie, and what do I do with it? How do I take care of it? How do I position my hands on the chanter? Next, he covers the basic notes of the bagpipe scale, and we learn to play the scale in Quarter Notes. Next, we're on to how to navigate the scale, and in this class we go into some basic Scale Runs.
