  1. quick question. I've been told to always play a heavy D throw by my pipe sergeant? I've also been told to never play a heavy D throw by a previous instructor? Curious what the Dojo U stand is on this issue?

    1. Hey James…
From time to time, we have talked about this very issue at Dojo U… not exactly sure which classes the discussion might be in… With that said - we much prefer the light D-throw at Dojo U. For a variety of reasons, we find it to be the most musical option of the two.
If you can, hop on to an Open Dojo Session soon, and I'll go through my reasoning for you 🙂
      Great question!
