Description: In this open session we start with several questions about starting to compete. A low g to c crossing noise question comes up in the Blue Bells of Scotland. This leads to a discussion on maintaining tempos. The Taorluath is examined which leads to strengthening your technique via GDE Exercises.

Marc Dubois Marc is an experienced pipe band leader and bagpipe judge from the Northeast USA. He spent many years with the Oran Mor Pipe Band as a piper and as a bass drummer, and thus has a extensive background on the topic of pipe band ensemble.
