In this pipe band session we take a look at the jig idiom. The solo and pipe band realms are compared and contrasted. The fundamentals of jig playing do not change. We just need to know how to deal with the increased variables in playing with multiple pipers. We also go over a classic jig - the Seagull - as we describe differences in approach in the pipe band realm. An excellent class for all pipe bands aspiring to play in the jig idiom.
