In this session we take a look at playing/tuning/surviving in cold weather performances. First we look at moisture control. Then we take a look at the right way to prepare and tune a pipe corps in the cold. Lastly how to keep our mits warm and take care of our instruments after the performance. A must for those in the colder regoins of the world!

Marc Dubois Marc is an experienced pipe band leader and bagpipe judge from the Northeast USA. He spent many years with the Oran Mor Pipe Band as a piper and as a bass drummer, and thus has a extensive background on the topic of pipe band ensemble. He's currently the Pipe Major of the Schenectady Pipe Band.
