In this class, we play through the 2nd and 3rd parts of this tune in our classic "tune building" style. The iconic third part is broken down, and we get to work on some bubbly note / darado embellishments!
In this session we talk about technique and it's very building blocks - syllables. Each technical piece has a syllable pattern that needs to match each other. Finally we talk about fusion of the short note into technical phrases. At the same time stressing both placement and clarity of the movement.
In this session, we go over Tulloch Castle, a classic strathspey that will test not only your proficiency of bubbly note execution, but also you ability to generate super consistent rhythms which are very prominent throughout the tune to enhance your musicality!
In this class, we look at embellishments objectively, and learn to diagnose them for improvement. At the end of the day, there are really only a few things that can go wrong. Once we understand what they are, we're "made in the shade" as they say.
In this session we take a look at 4 of our less used technical movements - the bubbly, edre, dare, and rodin. Each broken apart in syllables and slowly explained while looking at music they are contained in. Enjoy!
