Skye Rovers - #17 [Vintage]

Course Name: Repertoire Expansion
Class Name: Skye Rovers, by Jim McGillivray
Class Instructor: Marc Dubois
Date of Original Live Class: May 6th, 2012 at 6:30pm

Description: In this class we take a look at one of McGillivray's finest jigs, Skye Rovers. Classic in construction, yet contemporary in use of "syncopation", this tune has a strong melody line that's sure to keep buzzing in your head long after you play it! We approach this tune with our usual attention to rhythmical detail and technique insertion while staying true to the ever constant jig pulse/groove. A must learn!
