Using Recordings of Yourself During Open Dojo Sessions

Dojo U ScreenshotAs a Dojo U Member, you'll have access to "Open Dojo Sessions," which are open for any topics whatsoever! For instance, you can simply ask a question you've been wondering about. Or, you can just hang out to see what others ask about. Or, most importantly, you can perform (live or in recording form) for critique by our instructors!

I think this is one of the great features of Dojo U, because, even though the live classes are great, it's important to get direct feedback on what you're doing as often as possible. Even if we have private teachers that we see in addition to our memberships, additional feedback can never be a bad thing! Open Dojo Sessions allow you to do that.

Now, the best way to take advantage of these classes is by uploading an MP3 recording of you playing! You can do this from the Open Dojo Class Page right before you enter the class. It's super easy to upload, and once you upload it, it actually gets beamed straight to our servers so we can easily access it for the class!

Then, during the class, we can play, rewind, and play it again for purposes of, you know, making you better!

If you can't tune in live for an Open Session, it's perfectly fine to upload a file and ask us to offer feedback so you can re-watch the feedback later.

We hope you'll take advantage of our Open Dojo Sessions as soon as possible!
